Honey Toast Café rests elegantly on the corner of Farmington Road and Washington Street in downtown Beaverton. This interesting café has taken inspiration from Taiwanese street food. However, don't expect a typical Chinese restaurant here. Honey Toast Café is everything but typical.
Among the fascinating offerings are espresso, bubble teas, Panini, Salt& Pepper chicken, wings, fried tofu, sweet potato fries, and of course the signature dish Honey Toast.
This delectable dessert looks like a large, square piece of bread topped with ice cream and fruit. It's a creative take on toast that's similar to French toast, but not quite. It involves toast, butter, honey, and ice cream! Eat the sides down and you're left with some perfectly cut pieces of toast. Honey Toast comes in seven flavors, from "Strawberry Land", “Chocolate Symphony” to "Ice Queen. The richness of the buttery crisp toast is smoothed by the cool ice cream and the honey adds sweetness to the entire dessert. It's very filling, and if you add fruit - whether it be berries or fresh bananas, you're in for a treat.
